It’s like saying “I don’t like my situation but I’m going to stay because of the money/location stability.” IMHO that’s different from “I’m really happy here and I get the bag/location stability.” To me the former indicates your don’t want to be in your situation but are staying for auxiliary reasons outside of your company/position/coworkers/bosses but the latter means you enjoy those things about your situation.

Super late but I totally get that. I would add that you're making it a choice between the following 2:

"I hate it here but for auxiliary reasons I'll stay" or, "I love it here. Other reasons just make it even better."

When methinks it's more like... love/hate presents 2 ends of a huge scale with infinite possibilities in between.

Indifferent: "It's decent enough here. I don't hate it, don't love it, but I hate moving so so I can stay and be happy."

Both love & hate: "I do love the winters here hair, but hate the crime rate. I don't think my salary is enough to justify the crime rate. I'll give it a year and see."

Infinite possibilities, yeah?
