At least college coaches have the time to commit to Team USA and players don't have to fear that their coach has an agenda when the regular season comes back. Pop has been at the helm for the last two disastrous tournaments. Pathetic.

They went 7-1 with college kids. It was the fact that they lost to the Soviet Union which was the big deal.

You need to put together an actual team. My favorite USA Team was the 2010 World Championship Team. Coach K told Durant to carry them offensively and everyone else played a role. Iggy and Odom were huge for that team.
