even if the cost and contracts were the same, Caruso's deal is more bogus. Patty been doing it for years on high caliber teams, playing good minutes. Caruso wasn't even in the game plan. just a energy and effort guy, which is great, but you don't give that guy that much money.

Both players did good things for their respective teams.

To pay 30 mil or as MVP stated 40m in taxes to sign either player is ridiculous.

For the bulls to pay 9m a year? Not as egregious as some folks make it seem.

From an Owners standpoint (Not a fans) i don't see this as much of a win, Russ is one of the most popular players in the league, he sells seats & he attracts ratings. Plus him & beal are good enough for a first round appearance yearly which seems to be all the owner cares about.
