Caruso has started 19 games over 3 years and has career averages of less than 6ppg and 2.5apg. Patty has won multiple rings playing valuable minutes for the Spurs over a decade so i mean....you know what youre probably getting out of Patty. again, assuming contracts/tax/etc. were the same, i still think Patty is a much better get.

Wasnt even comparing the two players.

Only point I was making is if you sign either of them and the signing in itself costs you an extra crap ton of money in luxury tax bills, maybe the teams shouldn't sign the player.

Go over the tax for a game changer, not a roster filler
