It only makes sense. CH has been hosting all these lesser known NBA related shows. Malaika Andrews is a rising star and is positioning herself to host NBA Countdown or something else which will give her national exposure. Hosting a new NBA related show would seem like a "lateral" move for her.

Maybe Ros would be considered for the spot as well, considering she has done work with the network and is a big name. I like Cassidy though.
