I don't think anyone really cares about them being vaccinated or not outside of basketball fans who don't want a f'd up season and people who don't want to see athletes make buffoonish takes that could influence others to not get vaccinated.

My old lady was bugging me about the flu shot because we had a newborn at the time. I’ve never had flu like that in my entire life. Vaccine was beating me up

I mean there's a good chance this whole pandemic originated in a lab in the first place by people who dedicate their lives to science. And that's not to say I'm pro anti-vax. Just that experts and professionals aren't infallible

That’s not really the point here. His tweets can confirm biases that other people already have, given his profile. It can also get picked up by bigger conspiracy propagateurs and send people deeper down rabbit holes of false and misleading information.

We live in a society where celebrity worship at the crux of everything wrong with it. I don’t think believing that he has influence over certain people needs to be quantified. Even if it affects a small number of people, those people can help to spread wrong information to others and you have a wildfire of disinformation before you know it.

I'm Covid vaxxed by choice, my job doesn't care if I am or not

Not anti vaxx by any stretch but I never get the flu shot anymore. Prob did when I was a kid, I don't remember. Always thought that naturally I'd just be alright even if I got the flu, non scientific obv
