If they tie for record, strength of schedule is the first tiebreaker, who faces easier teams as a schedule in terms of the opposing team's win % -- which favors Jacksonville right now.

SOS is a percentage with the unit .000% soooo it's super doubtful they'd tie at that and it gets to a second tiebreaker.

But SOS changes throughout the season though so even though it looks like it favors JAX right now (and it'll probably finish that way based on upcoming schedules for both), the Jets aren't mathematically out of that.
