Ya’ll better stall my man Troy out. He played 10 years with the all-time rushing yards and TD carrier, it’s getting overblown now....

Exactly why modern NFL numbers is basically the steroids era. You can’t touch the QBs or receivers, it’s all geared towards throwing the ball 50 times a game...
agreed.. but Troy still wasn’t on the level of other QBs in his generation
I look at certain guys and see how their already insane numbers would be even more so, like jerry rice
but when I look back on those cowboys teams I look more so at how dominant Larry Allen was
I disagree. Troy was also hella injury prone too. He only played 16 games once. Look at Troys mechanics and throwing ability. Off sheer skill and arm talent, Troy could’ve put up Warren Moon, Favre or Marino type stats. He had a live arm. He was one of the few QBs (him and Steve young) consistently averaged 60% completion percentage.
everyone else in the 90s and prior eras were 50% passers...
troy was good just not great.. shouldn’t be in the hall of fame if you ain’t have 1 all pro season
just like imaging Barry with that oline.. I could only imagine other QBs with the heavy focus on emmitt
Barry Sanders didn’t want a fullback. Look it up. He preferred single back. When he got a FB, he had that 2000 yard season.
I’m a Cowboys lifer but even I know Barry was clearly more physically talented than Emmitt. He’s the GOAT imo. But Troy would’ve flourished in any offense, any era. Just like you say if barry had a better Oline. Imagine Aikman in the west coast or run and shoot offense like warren moon. Numbers would’ve been CRAZY
leg issue? man let this man rest
Yeah...don’t want him tearing anything from trying to compensate and then have to have ANOTHER surgery on that leg.
It’s not like he’s moving the ball well for the team anyways, however just his presence on the field puts him light years above Haskins.
They’re fighting for a playoff spot. You wouldn’t understand being a New England fan.
a playoff spot to do what exactly?
same reason RG3 died
I guarantee you no one wants to face the FT’s defense in the playoffs
Alex Smith out, Evan Engram and Bradberry out, White Mariota most likely out.
If the Eagles win this weekend, they're in first place.
I don’t get it, since when is Aikman considered a metric to pass
Sure but Aikman is kind of a low bar for that kinda thing nonethelessHe's not, but he is a hall of famer. Passing a recent hof inductee in passing tds 3 seaons on the field is significant though.
