You are incorrect here.
The take isn't on Mahomes, it was on the Chiefs/The Process.
I do not, and will not, EVER, agree with trading up multiple picks to take a QB. Ever.
I am perfectly fine that Mahomes may be the exception, but 95% of all other trade ups don't work out the same. Including, in the exact same draft, Mitch.
But I know y'all struggle with that so g'head with the takes.

I wasn’t doubting mahomes, because of Andy ive seen dude coach up way less talented dudes inclusive of Alex smith.. but i think we all knew the chiefs limitations with Alex, plus need to factor in chiefs were able to get a decent trade for Alex (like Reid has done with a couple other dudes)
but let’s say trey lance or fields somehow drop a lil, I could see couple teams being smart and moving up for them to replace aging QBs
