If what I heard is true, i couldn’t play next to Draymond.
Dray can definitely be intense, but Poole is also expressive as hell. They got into an argument this past season so this isn't really surprising. This will blow over. Poole probably doesn't think he needs to be schooled since he's proven himself this past season.

If Draymond is as ineffective as he was in the finals this season... He won't finish the year with the team. Imo

I also don't see the dubs as the "shoe in" most suggest out west. They could very well repeat, but they also could lose in the 2nd round... Again...imo

I agree with the "shoe in' thing since both the Clippers and Nuggets will be back to full strength, with the 76ers, Nets, and Bucks holding it down in the east, but Draymond ain't going no where. I think he more than earned the benefit of the doubt.

Draymond isn't going anywhere. If they even consider of moving him. Steph will have an issue with it. He'll be there for the entire season.

Also it was sort of expected that these two would butt heads. They've done it in the past. I like how the article paints Draymond did 'this' BUT Poole's attitude since camp is causing 'that'.

Civil war. What side will you choose

wardell got his FMVP. i'm unbothered.

in any case, im glad they got this **** out the way early as opposed it boiling over in march and distracting them mid-season. maybe this motivates myers and lacob to hurry up and sign JP to a longterm 🤷‍♂️

You guys may very well be right.

I do believe the conversation will need to be had if Draymond is a net negative or a zero player on the court, In addition to being a contributor to team turmoil.

Unfortunately, due to his history, it doesn't really matter if it's his fault or not.

Bottom line is, curry will be 35 before the playoffs start. klay is a few years younger but hasn't been the pre injuries klay. Draymond green seems to be on the decline across the board and has had games where he's not playable.

That core along with the dubs monstrous tax bill could lead to some moves that nobody anticipated... Especially if the dubs can improve in the process.

The dubs are paying 202m out to players and have a tax bill of 170m est this coming year according to spoTrac.com

As a clippers fan, hate the dubs. As a basketball fan, love the dubs. So, def no hate.

But changes will eventually need to happen with that team.

I agree for the most part. Realistically, the Warriors have alot to figure out next off-season and a number of players will be on the chopping block. With that being said, though his numbers isn't great, anyone not casual that pays attention will know that his contributions go beyond that on both ends. He's still a bona-fide anchor on defense and played sloppy last season in the playoffs, but normally orchestrates the offense.

tax bill could very well look different soon: next cba could have provisions that exclude contracts given to drafted players from the luxury tax (warriors, suns, heat, and celtics would benefit significantly) and the nba tv deal could double or triple in ‘25 which should increase salary caps significantly. two big “ifs”

speaking of “ifs,” i doubt dray gets a max extension. he’s the anchor of the warriors defense but i bet they dare him to test free agency. can’t think of many teams that’ll offer him any thing near a max contract for a player who’s shown limitations on offense

Yes indeed. I do believe that Green is still the anchor on defense. But, keeping it real, he's not what he once was defensively.

He can't become unplayable for the dubs... He's a zero offensively for the dubs, and that's fine as long as he's not average on defense. If he's average defensively... *Kanye shrug*

Good points.

I do believe that the owners that benefit from the dubs, clippers etc etc enormous tax bill will vote against that proposal.

The increase in cap space with the new cba should ease that pain a bit. But, not eclipse it altogether. That fact, along with that roster core another year older may bring forth change.

We already know that there will be a disgruntled star somewhere... At this point it's almost a given. Lol

KD again, maybe? That expiring green contract packaged up with maybe wiseman, Wiggins or klay could be in play for KD.

If wiseman turns into a 10reb and 2.5 blk guy, how much do you really need an aging, cantankerous green?

How do you feel about a potential lineup of curry/poole/Wiggins/KD/wiseman?

Or

Curry/poole/klay/KD/Wiseman

???

And keep in mind that Wiggins was the second best player on the team during last year's playoff run.
