Post draft coverage is hilarious. Listen to any pod and they’ll have you believing players 1-60 are all big time difference makers who will all be “really good players”

Reality is that only like 5-8 of these players out of 60 become “really good players”

Go look up old drafts.
The funniest is the immediate draft grades n winners/losers…All these dudes did so far was get their name called n walk across a stage :lol

I’m trying to figure out why they posted Ant working out on draft night like it’s a big deal

Unless that pic is from when he got drafted, who cares?

Thecoli is not a subreddit so you have no idea what you're talking about

My mistake. I looked at this too hastily.

That aside, my previous point still stands about the very tenuous relationship between “popular narratives” on social media and the truth.

They play it safe. In this era of freezing cold takes and receipt pulling not too many ppl are gonna go on record sayin a player is a bad fit or not that good.

The era of dunking on someone for being wrong is so bad. Unless they were loud about it, who cares that someone made a wrong prediction. No one knows the future.

Ya. Drafts are such tricky things. I randomly pulled up 2016 draft and I swear in the top 15, 8 are out of the league already or will be.
