Is it though

Raps: Trent, Siakam, Precious
Suns: Ayton, Bridges, Johnson
Pels: Ingram, Jones, Murphy

All 3 of those teams would still have enough to contend

Only thing is there was some report listing all the stars that couldn't be traded for KD. Ingram may have been on there but idk
If Ayton were maxed, he’d be on that list. Nevermind the base year comp issues involved with sign and trades.

Ingram is, too, I think.

There’s so many complications because of KD’s value and the Simmons situation that it gets awfully dicey without other teams/moves.

Does the Ayton to Indiana smoke involve a sign and trade with Myles Turner? Feel like that would make some sense.

He told you before he got drafted he was most looking forward to his 2nd contract. I get being a duffel bag boy but you gotta put in the work to at least fleece
I remember that & his shoe deal. He was definitely a little too forthcoming

Even still, he plays good enough defense and gives you 17 & 10 at 23 years old.

Those guys have always gotten maxed, if not by their own team then someone else. It’s very strange

Was an Ayton believer coming into his draft when a lot of folks were doubting his skill

I feel like he's proven himself to a degree, especially after the Luka blow up. But since day 1 the concern was his heart. Never seemed like he cared much lol

So I agree with what everyone is calling him out on. Dude talking like making that 2nd bag was the end all and be all

Yeah I get why other teams would be hesitant but surely not Phoenix. CP3 might be washed come fall and then you just have Booker out there with no help.

Pau Gasol is a real one

He really is, though. Married, middle name of his firstborn is Gianna. ❤🔥 We all need a friend like Uncle Pau.

Ayton's effort is a constant issue, not surprised Monty has had it.

You see flashes of what he could be and it is exciting. Then he will have stretches were it seems like he doesn't care that much.
When he refused to check back in last playoffs I knew it was over between him and the Suns

It's 100% a personality thing because the skill is there, we've all seen it, he just doesn't want it bad enough at times and refusing to be coached would be my last straw too

That's what really doesn't make sense. I don't get what the end game for them is. Booker, some 3 and D wings, old Chris Paul, and Bismack Biyombo?
Suns front office is a ******* mess

First their dumb moves with Jalen Smith, now Ayton. Then they have two decent size expiring contracts and don't use them to trade for anything of value.

Watch them start to play games with Johnson's extension too.

Seems like the plan is so them to bring back a worst roster and just expect everyone to step up.

These dudes not taking things seriously

Re: letting KD come to camp and just forcing him to play

He’s one injury away from his value plummeting.

Love how tough people get with players “I’d force him to play and wait for better deals”

There’s always a risk. Remember that. Especially for 34 year old

I think the Lakers & Klutch/Bron all agree on winning in what remains during the Bron era. It’s more so trying to keep a pick to use during the trade deadline.

Brogdon got traded for nothing. I bet the 2029 pick could get like Buddy Hield or something at the trade deadline.

Ayton was damn near the consensus #1 pick.

A lot of people had their doubts about Luka

I don't think it is fair to act like it was a clear goof just because Luka has far exceeded expectations.
Nah man. It was a clear goof .

I feel like I’m in bizarro world with the Ayton talk because he’s the type of big that gets maxed and then we call it a bad contract a few years later. Instead Phoenix is now tripping for not maxing him? They blew it with the Jalen Smith pick but not seeing how not maxing him is such a bad move by them. They’ll probably still get something back for him in a S&T. Clearly all the other teams are waiting on the KD dust to settle
