Big loss for the Suns but that's what you get for cheaping out. Indiana has an intriguing core now with Hali, Ayton, and Duarte. It's also funny that Jalen Smith is reunited with Ayton. Pheonix really does not like bigs.

One very intriguing point here is that Rick Carlise is the head coach of the pacers and he hates post ups:

Ayton doesn’t have to be a post up guy to be good, he has at least a theoretical face up game

Suns have to match

But James Jones is too high on his own supply, and Calvin Candie's descendant is too cheap, so they probably won't

Under the assumption that PHX wouldn’t want to pay Ayton, I don’t really see what the incentive would be for Indiana to do a S&T with Turner unless they are getting other assets in return along with Ayton.

Bruh, da **** wrong with these people

Suns probably going to match & then trade Ayton is my guess.
Just dumb when you could have had him much cheaper, but you wanted to lowball.

so KD and Kyrie gonna end up staying in BK? lmao

the conspiracy theorist in me thinks this was all a media and NBA ploy to draw up talk in an otherwise uneventful off season. murray, brunson and ayton as the biggest names is equivalent to having a boring draft class

I always wonder with offer sheets in any sport if there’s hard feelings on the players side if the team matches. Like if they’re in their minds thinking “please don’t match you broke garbage *** team”. Or just business.

Edit: “I signed this offer sheet for a mf’n reason to get away from you idiots!”
