been wondering if New Orleans should sell high on Zion - they have a decent young core and can only get better with whatever assets they get from a Zion trade.

it was a pipe dream that the young socialite would play in game 4 of a playoff game after not playing all year. Dude is no where near game shape let alone playoffs even without the "injury."
I saw that live when he said it last night, and he also said something to the effect of "We were being aggressive, so we can't say that," something like that. And I thought "Yes we can say that." The Pelicans were being entirely more aggressive on offense and more disciplined on defense. Like that's just what happened.

All you have to say is the home team gets the benefit of the calls in the playoffs. Suns attacked the rim pels were allowed to be really physical.a jumpshooting, dirty defensive team not having as many free throws as their opponents?
you dont say
Oh man hope he's good mr2cool80
usually I would agree - dude is awesome but he's played 85 games in 3 seasons and there have already been rumblings he wants out anyways in New Orleans so that's why. It's a risk either way - either dude is Greg Oden and never plays or lives up to his total potential or you trade him and it blows up in NO's face but I think the player to build around is BI and not Zion. What? God no you don’t trade a Zion level asset unless he demands it
the birthday thread was also cool
You counting on Zion hitting them with damn near +20 wins?Herb Jones raised the Pels ceiling so much. They should be a top 3 seed next season.
It’s very possible they are still down to the Celtics because that team is just too flawed. With harden they aren’t on the brink of being swept though.Would Nets be in this position if they never made the Harden/Simmons trade?
Didn’t see it last year iirc. That was always my sign as an east coaster it was time to go to bed.Is this the first year we didnt have that guy post “Day 2 of the 2022 NBA playoffs is officially a wrap”
But that's not what we said. That's your interpretation. All you have to say is the home team gets the benefit of the calls in the playoffs.
No. Again, that's your spin, your interpretation. Are we really saying One of the best defensive teams in the league the last 2 seasons and has a finals visit is not as disciplined as a team that hasnt been here before?
No, please change. Misinterpretations ain't it.#NeverchangeNT
I don't know that there's any current scenario where you're selling high on a guy that hasn't played 90 games in three years, with his body type AND dealing with foot issues along with other nagging injury issues.been wondering if New Orleans should sell high on Zion - they have a decent young core and can only get better with whatever assets they get from a Zion trade.
The team prob should’ve shut him down before the playoffs even started. Idk who’s idea it was to have him play this seriesit was a pipe dream that the young socialite would play in game 4 of a playoff series after not playing all year. Dude is no where near game shape let alone playoffs even without the "injury."

Tough.
I mean harden obviously didn’t want to be there so who’s to say he would even be invested. And he’s not exactly what he was in the past. Celtics still winningWould Nets be in this position if they never made the Harden/Simmons trade?
Noooooo
