Fox did a similar thing in 2000 with a turn back the clock game.
I think Angels, white Sox, Astros, blue jays, guardians, 1st dodgers (2nd dodgers better than most of the other), reds, and Braves have been done well. I’ve warmed up to the Phillies too.
That was an extremely powerful message. I’m so glad he was able to share that and put it out there for those of us who didn’t know/experience just how tough those times were for people of color. They still deal with their share of **** today, but man, that was a lot to hear.They were probably were expecting him to sugarcoat his answer. Glad he didn’t.
Wonder what the producers were thinking during this? Would be interesting to know if they were in the ears of the panel or they just decided to let him speak his experiences. You can still hear the pain in his voice.
