2024 MLB Thread; RIP Willie Mays & Pete Rose. Dodgers win #8!

So what makes Arozarena still being classified as a rookie?

Congrats to him either way.
• 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues.
• 45 total days on an active Major League roster prior to Sept. 1

Randy had 90 playoff at bats coming into the year alone but those don’t count toward rookie eligibility.
the short season last year helped too with the lack of games and at bats every one missed.

Braves win the World Series, Noah leaves for Cali. Stroman prolly out the door next. When it rains, it pours in Flushing.

Draft picks are overrated in all sports, but especially in baseball

With our luck, Thor is gonna go 7-15 with an ERA north of 5

Need us to go after Stroman next.

To me, draft picks are always value no matter what people say about it

One-year deals are nice. Really, it's nothing new for the Angels to offer one-year deals on players who were better three-five years ago. Quintana, Teheran and Harvey for examples. Different GM, same team

It's clearly that the Angels go all in for the 2021 season. They will likely go with a six-man rotation to manage Thor's limited innings

Angels have to go all in this season and at least get into the ALDS or we'll be talking about trade packages for Ohtani next offseason...
