2024 NBA Draft Thread - the hawks might be on the clock

Gradey is good man. Good shooter. Athletic.

If Cam’s medicals suck, what else do you want?

more of an upside pick.

I think Gradey is a super high floor guy. im pretty confident worst case he's a rotation guy. upside maybe high level starter.

but raptors just need more than that.

but Masai is delusional about this roster.

I don't get trading back one spot?

Can someone explain the Wiz / Pacers trade? Wth???
Money thing. It’s like when Chris Webber was drafted to the Magic at 1 and Penny drafted at 5. When the trade went through, Orlando got to pay Penny at a 5th overall salary as opposed to a 1st. Sure it’s probably Pennies to the organization based on both their rookie deals, but it’ll mean more in future negotiations, max contracts, etc.

Long story short, Wizards will be able to pay Bilal more from jump and more in the future without being over on the luxury based on his draft rights.

Cam Whitmore had a major leg injury in early HS and bounce back and kept getting better

NBA scouts being funny again dude is 18 and plays with an elite motor

Meh on JHS. But I trust the front office.

He looks like Jonny Davis all over again. Living on a diet of tough middies is not pleasant.
