I’m not a fan of the upper blocking regardless, but I TOTALLY AGREE. Had the outsole been navy, wheat, gum, something, they’d be much better. I’d still personally pass on them, but it’d look better IMO.

My SOTY for 2022, and it was also my most anticipated shoe when it was first leaked, is the froSkate Dunk SB High. I absolutely love those things. I’m not usually big on asymmetric kicks, but I love the way the panels and colors are arranged on them. Also how the underneath panel colors are on the trim of all the panels are so visible. Materials are great IMO, and with the black laces with gold aglets (which go PERFECT with the black Swoosh), they look the best.

I’m not big on mismatched shoes either, froskates are one of the very few that actually look decent to me. Nice pick.

Yeah, it’s just something about the way the colors are arranged, along with the trim/edges being so visible, that just really works on these.
