2024 NIKE SB DUNK THREAD_____GRs and QSs added

Just sharing my project from today. I bought them with the intent to paint them because I love the base but think the blue is trying too hard and doesn't look good. I'm very happy with them now!

RIP to Trugoy of De La Soul. The SBs are what got me into their music. I got a pair of the OG highs in 2011 with my first big paycheck, rocked em a few times, then sold em a couple weeks later cuz I needed that money back :lol: I knew a couple of de la songs from Tony Hawk, general popularity, the gorillaz feature. But when I got the shoes I wanted to know what they were about. All these years later 3 Feet High And Rising and Eye Know are one of my favorite albums and songs, respectively. A few homies also chipped in and got me the lows when they dropped in 2015, beat those and threw em out eventually.

I have some pics of the shoes I personally had but instead, here's a pic I took quick at the 2015 sneaker culture exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. A testament to the group's importance and SB's place in culture.
