For my SB OG's, does anyone know why in the white dunk city pack they all have silver boxes except for the Pigeons? They have a pink box meanwhile the Paris, Tokyo, London have silver. They were released in the same era

Pigeons were definitely the last to release, 2005. I think the others were 03 or 04 so maybe by the pigeons they were moving on to pink box. I'm not sure what the actual production dates are but lord knows we have newspaper evidence of when the pigeons released

did yall not see the twitter thread I shared a page or two ago with about, 7 or 8 tweets, about the changes to the model?
they reduced the forefoot midsole for more board feel. so I could see them being closer to a SB dunk forefoot height.
how would you compare regular 4's to dunk comfort?

what did you want to see, "personally" them to do to make them more SB? Thought the "not for me" tagline was coming..These turned out really good. I’m still wishing there was something that made them more SB-ish, but I’m still digging them. They’ll be had.

I like da SB 4's might not jump thru flaming hoops to grab em tho, retail or bust. Should've made the toe guard tear away to show some pop like an infared maybe, And do these bring extra laces? Some green joints might help

Admittedly I’m SUPER BIASED when it comes to the color green (lifelong Super Sonics fan), and the 4 is my second favorite J behind the 1. They’re clean, and I like, but they’re not like MIND BLOWING or anything.
As for “more SB-ish,” I’m just going based on what they’ve done with using the Jordan 1 model in all the past SB x Jordan 1 pairs, especially to the outside colors/materials. I know they added the air unit in the insole as a change in those 1s, but all the 1 Highs, save for the Craig Stecyk pair that had that wild (I love ‘em) iridescent green to mimic his art gallery, had the wear away paint (both Lance Mountains & in the LA2Chi & NY2Paris pairs), and one pair of the 1 Lows had the tear away upper. Both Koston pairs (white/navy & UNC), are the most tame of all the Jordan x SBs that’ve dropped. With that in mind, I honestly anticipated more than a green, Military Blue styled colorblocking, w/ gum outsole, Jordan 4. Being the first 4 x SB, I imagined wear away, tear away, using some strange paint or design, or something else funky.
