2024 NIKE SB DUNK THREAD_____GRs and QSs added

be prepared to wait for a reply, took dude 3 weeks to respond to the "trolling" accusations w/ 2 photos & NO real info.

prolly cause he rarely comes in here and checks this thread. lol @ calling him out. he's been on here a long time and has hooked up a bunch of people before most of you even joined.

does that say dark atomic teal for the highs? looks like black/gray from that pic tho. hope we see some pics of samples pop up soon.

i don't see the appeal, but would love some trade bait if possible. Sounds bad I know, but whatever.
I ain't mad atcha. Would rather see someone helpful in this thread scoop for trade bait and get something they eventually want than some clownshoes person scooping just to try to flip for $300.

Awesome find on those B-Grade Supreme Dunk Lows. XIILegacy has been around for a LONG time and doesn't suprise me with this find. :smokin

Found a store in NYC selling the Concord Dunks Saturday, might have to stop in and get some. Still trying to find those Iguana/Camo Dunks, UBIQ is sold out even though they list em on their site...

EDIT: Id also like NT'er advice, I found a pair of Quagmires for $195 shipped and a pair of Ron Burgundy's for $200 shipped...what to get!

I say get what you like brother. I personally would get the Quagmires but I haven't seen pictures of the Ron Burgundys. I need to stop by my local shop and see how they will be releasing their pairs. I should be ok but man, I haven't seen the hype on them around here...yet. :\

I've seen the Ron Burgundy's in the low 100$ range, size 9.5-10 of course thought about pulling the trigger.8o

like i said before, i'm definitely passing on these but if i can help anyone secure a pair...I WILL
Looks good. Not ashamed to say I'm after a pair. 11.5 or 12 if anyone sees early or ends up with some.

Def not going to go ham trying to get them though, but will give it a shot. If I scoop, I'm wearing right away. Something tells me these won't look great for long. Repped for the pics.

Never be ashamed about being after something u like. Don't let the hatebeasts deter you! I doubt u meant that literally, but that comment is more for the kiddies still finding their way in this thing called life. NEVER let the hatebeasts influence your style; that makes u as bad as the "hypebeast" kids that make decisions based on other people's opinions.

Anyways, I'm definitely trying to cop the HFs for myself, and an extra pair to trade for a Grail pair, if possible. After the initial hype dies down within a couple weeks, the value is only going to drop, and I imagine fairly quickly (if these are released in true GR amounts), so a trade would need to be done with the quickness.

As far as them getting dirty, yes, I think they'll get dirty quicker than most shoes, but I don't see it being a huge problem, as long as you take care of your kicks and don't wear them several times in a row. My Concords are still looking fresh and crispy after 5 months/20 to 30 wears. For the most part, I clean them after every wear and keep them boxed up, as opposed to out in the open (especially in sunlight).

Non-SB question, but it's a Dunk question, so I figured it'd be ok to ask it in here; what would be a good price to pay for the Nike Dunk High Premium "Mighty Crown"? Have you guys seen these recently for anywhere close to retail? I was just getting back into copping kicks again when these dropped, and didn't even know about this release until recently. It looks super-dope in my opinion;

That elephant print, icey sole, and the red leather "Nike" tab on the tongue really do it for me. The gold crown lace thingy is also a beautiful touch. Mainly solid-colored shoes aren't really my thing, but these are an exception. Did these sell out quickly or were they sitting for a while? Any info would be appreciated. After jumping the gun and paying more than I needed to on a pair of Un-Heaven's Gate Dunks, I now know better than to not run things by my fellow SBers before copping... Oh yeah, and does the "Premium" in the description just pertain to the materials, or are there any additional features to the shoe, as far as tech/comfort goes? Thanks again, fellas.

Preciate the comments! Def not ashamed of liking the shoe. Meant it more as a "I know the kiddies/hypebeats/whatevers will be out in full force for these so any trouble in getting them and I'm on to the next one." I guess that does sound like they will deter me though haha, I'm just not willing to like camp out for these or nothing. MURTAUGH (I'm too old for that ish).

You're right on Concord 11s though. If you keep them in the box and not in sunlight, as well as in a cooler tempature room (i.e. keep a fan on in the room or something) then it works wonders for longevity on all kicks really, but especially anything with icy soles. I also remove the tissue paper. Gotta be diligent on the cleaning though. Surprisingly enough, I've found Armor All to work decently well on icy soles after a wear.

Never tried the Armorall technique. I just clean 'em with Jason Markk and make sure to dry them completely (especially if putting them back in the box); making sure the soles are free of moisture as much as possible seems like it would be important to keeping them icy.

I feel u on not wanting to camp out. I'm up there in age, too (30! damn, when I was younger, my "old heads" weren't even 30! **** I'm getting old!! lol), and am definitely not trying to camp out for anything, let alone a shoe. 2 hours before a release is my breaking point. I don't think any local spots are gonna have the Concords, so my only shot is online or phone order. I'm hoping I'll be able to score, but as the date grows closer, I honestly think I'm leaning more towards getting a pair to trade for something rather than keeping it. I don't know, it's just kinda like "Why wear the Happy Feet SBs when I can just wear the regular HFs?". Of course, if XIs aren't your thing, I get it, but I personally love the 11, so it's kinda silly to me. If I can get 2 pairs, I'll definitely keep one to rock, but if it's only 1 pair, that's a tough call. We'll see... There are so many older SBs I'd rather have that these aren't even in the Top 10 for me. A lot of people want the new stuff, which I can understand (I used to be like that when I was younger, for sure), but this go-round, I've been much more interested in getting the stuff that I've always loved and either missed out on or lost in some way or another over the years. When I got back into copping Js again, I went for all of my OG favs, and now that I'm content with that part of my collection (as content as a sneakerhead can be... there's always that other pair I NEED... lol), it's on to the SB Dunks. I have no illusions about this, where its like "5 more pairs, and I'm OUT of the game for good!"... Nah... I'm in this for good. As an adult, I think I've refined my style as much as I ever will; very simple, with jeans or slacks, tees (mostly neutral colors), and a hoodie, and a nice peacoat or overcoat in the winter, and a snapback or beanie, all of which fits me in a normal way (i.e. not too tight, definitely not baggy). And my kicks. With my kicks (and to a lesser degree, my hats) being where I really set things off and let my style really shine through, I don't ever see that changing, which is why I see myself being in this for the long haul. For the guys who have that "hip-hop"/baggy clothes- style, they always end up selling off their collections when they get older, for a number of reasons. I think one of them is that when they start refining their style, they view their kicks as being "immature", and I could see that being the case with Foams and KDs and Lebrons and any of the Js from 11 on. But the classic models (which are the shoes that I cop and rock; the Kobe 8 Easter is the first non-Retro b-ball shoe I've copped since the Jordan XV originally dropped) will always be timeless, in my opinion, and Dunks will always be a part of that category, even more so than most Js, since the Dunk silhouette is more classic and simple than most, if not all, Js. Wow, sorry for the long post guys, not sure how it got to personal style from HFs so quickly... lol. Peace.
