I would pick them up (in store version) but I can never find a decent price for em. I think what killed the shoe to me..was all the teaser shots & when it was finally revealed, it was a bit disappointing. Jus my opinion tho.

I still see them for retail or less on eBay when I come across them...I think I've found pairs at shops online in the last few months in random sizes.

Depends on what they actually put out. If it ends up being real cork, probably not, but if they cut corners, and put out something awful, yeah it'll hit discount.

The only cork I know of SB using was on cork janoski insoles.
Mine held up great even skated around in them a bit
I'm sure cork on the outside of the shoe would be a bit tougher to work with tho
Not to mention the severe decline in QC since the janoski's came out

The first black/white colorway with the separate cork insoles was DOPE. I remember Stefan saying how it give extremely lightweight cushioning and impact support. Unfortunately never got to skate them. I was always an emerica and lakai guy
