It’s only a matter of time before some guy in Brooklyn starts churning out “artisanal” argon chambers constructed from cold rolled 18-gauge steel, and selling them to sneakerheads for an ungodly price.
Great read! Sneakers were never meant to be wearable for 10 years or left in a box. Wear them and move on to the next pair when they're done. Sole swapping and all that stuff is an unnecessary waste of time and money.

You can rip the soles off, sand em down, and re-glue it back on with shoe goo.
It took about 10 hrs of work and $10 of materials.
