No insta post. I think they’re delaying it since snkrs was for chocolate yesterday.

I saw on IG that they are extending the in-store raffle for a few more days, so of course the online drop would now be delayed. I am not sure if it is because there were storms in the cities where SS stores are located and they feel that folks did not come out due to that or something, but I read posts from some people saying that they drove in the storms and were in traffic to make it to the store for the raffle. I just hope that those people who went the stores for the initial days of the raffle get pairs.

Today’s wear for a private Honda meet at American Honda in Torrance, CA:

I usually avoid wearing SB Dunks for long periods of time because a lot of these newer dunks aren’t as comfortable as the early to mid 2000s ones. But I thought, it can’t be that bad. Big mistake, my dogs hate me right now.

Event ended with enough time for me to drive back in 2 hours of traffic to pick these up:

yeah because it’s an official event at the Honda Headquarters, they keep the number small and try to make sure it’s not gonna be a meet with people revving or doing a bunch of burnouts…or turned into one of those takeover things. That’s the last thing the higher ups in American Honda and Honda of Japan need to see

My first Dunk ever, and I scored it through the SNKRS Pass reservation. Picked it up on Friday and wore it out the same day for my daily walk. The colorway is really nice IMO.

Never owned a pair, so I've learned some things: 1) sticking in the Zoom SB insole helps a bit, and 2) thin/old/bad quality socks will kill my pinky toes (Darn Tough socks are a lifesaver).
