2025 NBA Draft Thread

I don't envy Bob Myers. He's got to walk the tightrope of investing in the current core and future of the franchise.

Didnt the owners lose a bunch of money? They might be going all in with their current core. For some "disgruntled" star imo (Beal, Lavine, etc).
Draft lacks talent at the top. And you have to match salaries which basically means you'd have to take on Wiggins. Don't know why any team would really want that. Especially 2 teams that are already picking in the top 10.

Can definitely see Dray or Wiggins being dumped for salary to fill the team out better around Steph and Klay, or the pick and one of them for a disgruntled star if a team cares to show interest. Might take another piece or 2 to do the latter.

Wiggins has 3 more years on his contract and Draymond has 4. Can't see why any team would take one of those on.

Me neither but I’ve seen a few of these bad teams do enough dumb **** to not put anything past them:lol:
Jesus Dray has 4 left?

Why would they.. KD really spoiled everyone.. It’s like they didn’t win with Harrison Barnes catching passes for wide open shots

Wiggins is the same height as Barnes unless Barnes grew.. Wiggins is a more consistent offensive threat.. Like why even consider it before having the four of them play half a season together at least

Which goes back to who’s your sixth man or do you want a defensive big.. maybe even trade for one

Kira Lewis kinda reminds me of Ja Morant without the crazy hops. Still lightning quick though.

Lets be real the Warriors would be the best spot to land in for every top prospect.

Not expected to the be first or second option , play in a good team with good leadership and coaching and not your team won’t suck.

Hope the kid stops growing and just fills in for his size. Already looks smooth on the court unlike some other teenage 7 footers.

No footage of him handling or passing like they said in that clip tho  ...If yo can’t do that he’s just another regular big man prospect
Theres some on YouTube . Hes got the base . You cant be a regular big man prospect with an 8 foot wingspan Shooting from deep
