.

kings have thompson + hawes + martin + reke. i dont call that "no talent"
rockets? yao, tmac, ariza, scola, brooks. they may not be all stars, but they certainty play hard.
twolves? love, jeff, flynn, even sessions and rubio?
its true we may be the least talented team, with only chandler, gallo, nate, lee, douglas and hill, i still thinkt he coach is the problem. or at least amajority of it.

seriously i dont think u guys understand how bad some of these teams are. we certainly have no all stars either, but we are more talented than both the kingsand rockets yet they are both +.500 (stop including yao/tmac who havent played 1 minute and the kings success is w/o martin). twolves shouldnt even be in thepicture they're definitely the worst team in the league.

Lee is the worst point defender in the league. Love is 21 years old and already does basically everything Lee does but better. He is a 10xbetter shooter, he rebounds just as well and he finishes. Open your eyes man. Lee is a mediocre player. His talents are maximised to the fullest in thissystem. Love has the 2nd highest rebound rate in the league last year, if he played in an up and down system like the Knicks ti woud prolly be even higher. Plus imagine him getting fast break started with his full court chest passes.

walsh and D'Antoni can both be fully judged in a year or 2.

Until then, I'm not passing judgment on either. They've inherited a really crap situation.

Again, there are little things I wish both would do different/would have done different, but Nate Robinson not playing is the least of my worries going intothe future. Yah, he should play over Duhon, but he aint changing much. And we don't know what goes on behind closed doors.

I think D.Lee is under achieving right now, he's being over worked on the Defensive end and he gets isolated way too much on the Offensive side.

If he were in a situation where he working off a power C, where he would be cleaning up and most likely in better/more post situations being that he would beplaying HIS position, he'd be avg. 24 and 12 easy IMO.

Also, can we forget about the "system" making players look better. The only time we really played the SSOL offense correctly was the first half oflast season when Duhon was playing well. After that we became a halfcourt team. When was the last time we effectively pushed the ball?

Do you realize how many players ever have averaged 24 and 12...Knicks fans are the worst some times. Y'all loyalty is part of the problem, this team isTRASH...There is a reason no one wanted D Lee this summer, he is a glorified role player. I like David but he doesn't have a single offensive move in hisrepetorie. He finished well with both hands but his game is so limited. He rebounds and finishes well, but that is about all.

Not to say the guards I named are perfect, but when your ego tripping has you sacrificing talented-head strong players, as a Knick fan I take offense to it...

As good as the team looked last year when Duhon was playing well, it sickens me when I think about how much better they could have been with an actual talent like Marbury (pre-vasoline) running the point instead.
This.

And this.

It's old news at this point, but I was one of those who said that D'anphony just can't win with his no defense philosophy. Oh well, the Knicks arestuck with him for AT LEAST another 2 years. So there's no use about crying over it.

As far as Jackson, yeah he would have been a good fit. He's media-savvy, is from NY, has youth on his side (key factor in being able to relate to youngerplayers), and has also put up HOF-type numbers at the POINT GUARD position... widely regarded as the most important position on the floor. That's why him> Ewing, allen.

At worst, Mark would have taken his lumps and could have gotten bumped down to assistant for '10. At best, you would have found your coach for theforseeable future.

I guess I inflated a touch, but not much.

My interest has been at 0 since Tim Thomas called Kenyon Martin a fugazi. Lee and to an extent Nate have been the only guys you could root for inthis last half of the decade.

you must be a very patient person. i've resented this franchise since the ewing trade or when sprewell was ran out of town, i can't rmemeber whichhappened first

woah. i knew the ewing thing was right after the finals, but i had no idea sprewell was that much later. i thought it was 01 or 02

yea I remember it as that same season that Layden got fired and Marbury got traded to ny that year...
Which also includes JohnnyRedStorm's hatred of Tim Thomas's Fugazi comment.
