I would love to see Lebron on the Knicks but I kind of agree with Animal Thug (feels wrong)..Lebron is gonna get extra money from Nike regardless just like MJ did once his shoes blew up..Do you guys think once Jordan sales were going through the roof after his first few seasons that he kept the contract he originally signed as a rookie? No way...Plus, the talk of "if he wants to stay in Cleveland why didn't he resign already" talk is nonsense because as many of you guys know, Jordan often hinted that he would consider other offers in free agency to get the Bulls sweating and offer him a huge deal..The year before his final 3 championships he wasn't satisfied with the offer the Bulls put on the table so he told them he would speak to other teams, and actually had his agent contact the Knicks..Of course once Bulls management heard about this, dude got offered a HUGE deal, so Lebron is just fishing for the same with all this speculation..And Bulls fans are the most delusional of all...Why would Lebron wanna look like a MJ D-rider and join the same team he played on? That's just foolishness

Regardless of all of this, I would still love to see Lebron play in NYC but if it doesn't happen, it's all good as long as Walsh helps us obtain other solid players to take us at least deep into the playoffs..Let's see how the offseason turns out

Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni has fired back at rookie Jordan Hill, who claimed that he was buried on the bench during his tenure in New York.

"Where does that come from?" D'Antoni said. "Seriously. It's something that cracks me up. I don't play rookies? I don't like to play bad rookies."

Hill, who the Knicks dealt to the Rockets in the Tracy McGrady deal last month, helped Houston defeat New York with 13 points and five rebounds on Sunday afternoon.

"What can I say?" Hill said upon hearing D'Antoni's retort. "That's him. He's entitled to his own opinion. If that's the way he feels, that's how he feels.

"I'm entitled to my opinion, so I'm just going to go out there and say what I feel."

D'antoni might say some funny things at times but when you have even have rookies complaining about you in a way similar to some of the Vets, there's a problem.

And we almost would never know how good Tony Douglas was if Duhon wasn't utter trash (although he was a baller in College). Shame.

wow i never thought of it that way, if duhon was average and we were about 6 games out of the playoffs he'd probbaly never play douglas.

yeah this is a real issue. he's having serious communication problems. i can understand his rotations. i don't like half of them but i understand his thought process. But it comes across as if he doesn't speak to his players. he doesn't explain his decisions. he doesn't ask them for input.

the only thing i can think of is that a long time ago he realized that 70 percent of this team was gonna be gone so he didn't bother being nice to the disposable players. but even if i'm right that's still foul and not good behavior for a coach. we don't need the negativeness
 
And if you're going in another direction, and looking to play the young guys... WHY play the chuck, Al Harrington? He's what Jamal Crawford used to be.... a bad shot shooter and really streaky. Thing that makes him more of headache than Jamal ever will be is his basketball IQ. You mean to tell me you can't give Hill Harrington's minutes? SMH

i think he thought we could make the playoffs with harrington and duhon playing. he didn't cut and run quick enouigh. i was would have after 1-9. plus he had to play jefferies so he could trade him
 
Quite honestly...we probably should have expected this from the start. The only young players D'Antoni has ever "developed" are Amare, Barbosa and Diaw. Not to mention that the Suns are notorious for trading away draft picks for cash.
