I usually don't start with TNA, but coming out of last night's Lockdown PPV, we got one of the best matches of the year when Kurt Angle beat Mr. Anderson in a cage match.  I wasn't crazy about the rest of the show although the Styles/Pope and Kazarian/Moore/Homicide matches were good, there was also a lot that wasn't, including the main event (the lethal lockdown match) which was an absolute disaster.  I'm sure you can find the Angle/Anderson match online somewhere.  Make sure you check it out.

Raw tonight will be an interesting show.  The majority of the Raw roster is still stranded in the Ireland.  So instead, the Smackdown talent will handle Raw tonight.  They were able to fly home over the weekend on a flight from Spain.  The Undertaker was called in for tonight's show as an emergency favor.  Also conveniently, HHH was not on the Raw tour, so he will be on tonight's show.  Other Raw talent who were not on the European tour include Yoshi Tatsu, Carlito, Zack Ryder, and Vladimir Kozlov.  They may or may not be featured on the show, although last week Kozlov did promise to crush MacGruber if he was not featured on Raw.

I have no idea what MacGruber is, but they are hosting Raw tonight.  Raw is live from the Izod Center in Jersey.  The show is sold out, so it should be a good crowd.

Here's the official WWE statement regarding tonight's show:
WWE calls on “MacGruber
Prowrestling.net is reporting that several WWE stars who worked on the UK tour will be un-able to make it back in time for tonight's WWE Raw. The list of stars includes:

John Cena, Batista, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, The Miz, Big Show, Bret Hart, MVP, Mark Henry, Christian, Chavo Guerrero, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston, William Regal, Dos Caras Jr., Eve, Kelly Kelly and Maryse.

Disregard what I previous said about the Raw talent being at Smackdown:
More volcanic ash has emerged and according to the latest BBC story, there are now doubts if they will open the airports in the U.K. tomorrow as originally hoped.

Any delay in opening the airports would make it impossible for the Raw talent to appear at the Mohegan Sun Casino for the Smackdown taping.

Really interested in seeing how Raw will be tonight with the Smackdown wrestlers.

That must suck to be trapped over there.

I wish they would get a real GM for Raw and return to the format of GMs picking the superstars they want.

CM Punk on RAW huh? I remember an interview where he said he would be best suited there. Let's see what SES has in store for RAW.
Report: Batista Furious Backstage
World Wrestling Entertainment issued a press release this morning announcing WWE Studios is currently filming a new film in Louisiana, Killing Karma.

Batista had been publicly announced for the lead role a few months back, but was replaced by Triple H. According to sources, Batista is furious over the change. "Batista wants to be a movie star," one source noted.

There was much discussion over the company's tour of Europe that Batista will leave WWE when his current deal expires in the summer. He's claimed to friends in recent months that he's looking to wind down his in-ring career in order to focus on acting.
The Real Reason Sean Waltman No-Showed TNA Lockdown
Sean "Syxx-Pac" Waltman did not appear at last night's TNA Lockdown PPV due to "personal reasons," reports the PWTorch Newsletter. Waltman reportedly gave TNA management advance notice that he would not be at the show, and speculation backstage at the event was that he had not been cleared by the Missouri state athletic commission.
Waltman worked for an independent wrestling company the night before, and apparently told people there he wouldn't be at Lockdown. Apparently there isn't heat on Waltman for missing the show since he gave notice, and he's expected to be in Orlando for tonight's live iMPACT.

I hate to say this, but damn he looks so weird/off... I have a very bad feeling Jeff Hardy will be another wrestler who passes away too soon. The dude looks like he his on something 24/7 some "perma-stoned" type '%!*.
