yea half the stuff that gets unnoticed on that site is crazy.
for example. a poster picked out two spots on google maps saying you will find a missing person, and the following day or two the police discovered bodies
of missing people in the same area.

O RLY? So what you're saying is that there is still a detectable traceof care left in your heart. You care somewhat, therefore it's possiblethat you could care less about it. That gives me hope... heck, it'salmost a way of urging your conversationist to continue! Yes, yes, please continue... I could care less about the subject, so perhaps you have hit upon a subject we can share together! Hooray!Originally Posted by Crank Lucas

How many black chicks go missing every day?
How many Latino chicks go missing every day?
Nobody +%@$**# knows, because nobody reports on it.
##!* makes me sick.

In order for one to "care less" about a subject, they must firstcare about it somewhat. Saying "I could care less about ... " doesindeed imply, nay dictate, that there is some degree of care.
I've put together a handy chart to help visualize...
It can easily be seen that, in absolute terms, there is no caring atthe zero marker. It is impossible to care less than that amount.
Let us use a different example...
Which statement above means "I have at least some food", and which means "I don't have any food"?
- I could have less food.
- I couldn't have less food.
Now take what you have learned today into consideration please
