But days like Black Friday puts food on tables.

I thought just a month ago people were complaining about wealth inequality and poor economic conditions.

Looks like times are excellent.

The grasp that corporations have on society is outrageous.
It's like the ball of yarn that pet owners use to distract their cats.

1% 'ers went IN on those black Friday sales for sure.

Looks at SN, see's irony...

Didn't partake in the madness portion of Black Friday, but deals were to be had and I bought some things I needed (Jeans), things I wanted (Cole Haan Bucks, blu rays) and things to give away for the holidays (blu rays, dvd's).  Still might scoop up some things that I want, not need.

Some people like paying retail.

Don't mind me bros, I just find this whole thing quite humorous.

Ah yes, but the corporations can only lock customers in if the customers let them.

They might be pushing and shoving material obsession down our throats, but it's our choice to buy into that lifestyle. Companies are just here to make money. People are the ones who make the ultimate decision, and a lot of times it's not a good one.
