I've been hearing from many people that they've "cut the cord" on their cable subscriptions and never looked back. I hear about all the money they save and how much simpler their entertainment setup has been as well. I don't watch much TV anyway, but this has sparked some thought and maybe I'll give this idea some consideration, but I can't seem to justify doing this.
I don't watch much TV and when I do, it's to watch shows like True Detective, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, CNBC, Bloomberg and ESPN.
I know that I can watch all the TV shows from "other" sources using the internet, but I'm on the fence about sports.
I watch a LOT of sports. Football, Basketball, Tennis, Golf etc. I even have a lot of people over to watch big games. I just can't figure out how people watch sports when they "cut the cord" on their cable subscriptions. Are these people even watching sports for them to be effected?
Can someone please provide some perspective on this?
