ADIDAS BBall Boost Thread - BYW, Crazy Explosive & Crazy Light & OTHER BBALL ADJACENT SNEAKERS

All I've been wearing is olive green kicks the past couple of months. No idea why lol. Here's my very small collection.

I really wish Nike would have made the Kobe Xs more like the Crazylight Boost 2015. They can do it,

Anybody know if these come in GS/Youth sizes?

I was looking around for youth sizes so the nephew and gf can experience boost on court :)

Cheers.

I don't think they made GS sizes this year. Smallest is size 5 on adidas.com in 2-3 colorways.

@The red model  appreciate the info on the poron

I went a little crazy trying to come up with ways to increase the longevity of the KB 8 cushioning as well.  I bought the orthotic ready insole off nikeiD which was a nice baselayer for adding a thick insole on top.  However, my dumbass decided to return a pair of iDs that it came with... didn't think i'd regret but I do

just ordered CL Boost,  white/red, $99.99 with the 30% off HOOSIERS code was too good to pass up

everywhere i've read said to swap out the insoles.. any suggestions on what to use instead?

.. was planning on buying a cheap pair of UA cleats at Marshalls and taking the insoles from the cleats.

Tbh, anything that is a little bit thicker would work fine -- you can go with something that has zoned cushion or support too if you'd like

UA micro G insoles are awesome.  Thicker insoles from past D Rose models are great too.

I'm a pretty big fan of Spencos - would recommend either their total support or the polysorb (less structured ones).  I also think the standard ortholite ones are pretty solid.  Some brands last a little longer, but these are a decent thickness, add a little extra cushion and mold to your foot nicely.

Hope this helps

what site u used the HOOSIERS code on?

@iks mod    absolutely does help!!!  much appreciated!!!!!!!
No problem -- one thing on the Spenco Total support, or some of the other brands that sell support insoles.  They are a bit stiffer/rigid which can be great, but it's not always for everyone. You may be able to search where certain brands are sold near you to check them out in person first

the spenco total support max is perfect for me in the CL Boost 2015. The regular total support has a less rigid arch support but its all preference

I just ordered the all red pair from Eastbay, and they should be coming in this week. The last pair of adidas I rocked were the tmac 4s when they first came out. I used to love my pro models back in the day too. I'll try to post pics when they get in.

I would go TTS on these, and if they are a little big, then get new insoles.  If you go down the fit won't be quite right.

Also, it looks like the Adidas sale is even better now.  Some colorways are $99 and then with 30% of HOOSIERS code, they are $69.99.  That is a steal for these shoes with boost, I'm grabbing another colorway just need to decide which

I know they aren't boost but finish line has the new crazyquick 3 for $50. Very good price for a very good shoe.

i've been keeping an eye on the CQ3... hoping for the red/white to drop to the black/white price although i talked to a guy at adidas who REALLY likes the "bounce" cushion so i'm also looking at the Rose 773 IV. he said "bounce" is NOT "boost" but it's close
