Picked up a couple pairs today from NiceKicks SF. First time doing a live raffle in a while, but my girl and I were in town so we figured we'd try our luck. Showed up around 7:45, with a good 100+ people in front of us. Waited until about 8:30ish for the staff to start passing out tickets which they managed to complete in about 10 minutes. Names called out were essentially given the choice of picking ONE of the many drops they had in store today (4 or 5 styles of NMDs, Solebox UBs, and 2 styles of AM0). My girl ended up getting chosen first so she grabbed a pair of Solebox UBs for me. We waited around to test our luck and hit again about an hour later - managed to walk away with a restock of the Special Forces Tubular Dooms. All in all, not a bad day!

Removing ourselves from the situation, I think it was a pretty smooth release...more importantly it was fair. Chances were way better than online and they had enough pairs to make your time worth while. Now if I could only find a pair of white mesh NMDs in a 5 for her as a way of saying thanks for being good luck ha.

As others have said, that SB is nothing special. Retail or pass for me. Even that is a stretch.
