I don't know about the heel cup, but it's good to see Adidas listening to the fans who want more subtle colorways to return.

The brown def looks like cork and the cage looks like leather but not sure about that. They aren't a collab probably just LTD.

there are some minor variations. creams fit the most roomy for me. which UBs are you looking at?

still looking around for a 2nd pair, but definitely a light grey pair to wear for summer.....

its the same pattern on the tounge on my white 2.0s. Its just a different knit pattern than the rest of the shoe, nothing special.

Nah there's a little metal piece of some sort above the laces, most likely a limited edition of some sort or a collab

I don't think he's reading too much into it at all. There's definitely something there & they've been known to do things w/ the tongue area on collabs and other LTD models.

Wouldn't be surprised if the new round of 2017 LTDs all had a different metal embellishment on the tongue.

If that's a limited or collab, hopefully they'll do a similar GR in all grey.  They'll sell tons of them.

personally. thats the first non collab pair i've seen with something different on the tounge. My LTD pairs have a regular adidas logo.
