I don't recall any fanfare around these at all!

Is the cage leather?

The bottom olive colored part of the shoe toward the back where the heel cup is, is a very soft leather. The cage is a very soft but thick, padded kind of mesh. Retail was $225 and I believe they were a consortium release only. Boost hype wasn't what it is now I believe when these dropped. These caught my eye because of that wild toe box knit pattern. Extremely cozy shoe.

How do you size in solebox? I wear US8 in UB 1.0 and 2.0. Should I aim for US7.5 or US8?

Go down 0.5, so 7.5us for you. Solebox runs big. Even bigger than cream. Not a problem with thicker socks while wearing mine though
