@Picasso Swerve
I know you've posted it before, but I can't seem to find it.

What is the difference between GOAT and StockX, from a seller's perspective?  I have some stuff that I'm looking to get rid of as I've never worn them, and not going to.

Looks like GOAT charges between 9.5 and 20% + $5 to sell?   StockX only charges 10%?

Any differences for shipping costs (for seller)?

Naw that wasnt me, ive only been a buyer on GOAT.

I sold on both. Stockx uses UPS  then GOAT's USPS service. Stockx charges 7% + 3% Paypal but makes seller and buyer pay $10 to ship. Goat does not charge seller just the buyer for shipping. Everyone starts at 9.5% +5 off your sell. But I think people that signed up to sell on GOAT after June 2016 were charged an additional 2.7% fee(I think thats the percentage) if they wanted to cash out. And the people that were selling before June 2016 were given a year until they also had to do the  cash out fee.
First I've actually heard about the cash out fee, which seems to actually be 2.9%. Luckily I've been on GOAT for a while now, so that wont come into affect until June 1st 2017.

Thanks for the info, had to scour through my email to find the notice.

Thanks.

So GOAT is actually 9.5% + $5 + 2.7% to actually get your money?   For a total of 12.2% + $5 ?
I don't know if it matters to you, but GOAT is more friendly for international buyers, especially with big ticket items. As a Canadian buyer, this plays a big part in who I choose to purchase from when shoes are coming from the States.

If I have this straight:

GOAT:  9.5% + $5, + 2.9% to cash out.

StockX:  10% + $10, + 0% to cash out.

GOAT 2.4% higher than StockX if cashing out, but you save $5 over the StockX fee of $10

If you are selling anything over $208, it is cheaper to sell with StockX.

GOAT:    $208 x 12.4% = $25.79 + $5 = $30.79.   $208 - $30.79 = $177.21 profit

StockX:  $208 x 10% = $20.80 + $10 = $30.80.    $208 - $30.80 = $177.20 profit

As an example, something selling for $250:

GOAT:    $250 x 12.4% = $31 + $5 = $36.   $250 - $36 = $214 profit

StockX:  $250 x 10% = $25 + $10 = $35.    $250 - $35 = $215 profit

Does GOAT tell you how much you'll receive before listing the item? I just sold an item on Stockx for $389. Total payout after shipping/tax fee was $340.10.

This is super helpful.  Repped.  I have some pairs I'm going to list in the near future so had a lot of questions about how this broke down.

I used Stockx recently to buy a criminally under-priced pair of shoes and the experience could not have been better.  They actually pulled off the whole "funny email updates" thing.  Was wanting to list with them if the numbers were similar, and it looks like they are actually the preferable option.

Yes they do right under when you list your price. Stockx to me moves really slow compared to GOAT.

I requested to sell on GOAT but was denied so just went the Stockx route. Reason GOAT denied me was because of insufficient evidence of selling

Same issue on my S6, but doesn't really matter as they verify them in person, it's just to verify you have the said shoes in your possession. I received GOAT verification back in Oct/Nov of 2015 so I'm not charged the extra fee for cashing out as of now, and I live in LA area which GOAT is based out of, which speeds up my cash out.

Just to nitpick, this is actually incorrect because you're supposed to take the 2.9% off (9.5% + $5). You cant add the percentages together like that.

It's only off by a few cents but if anyone is pushing huge amounts it could matter.
