So I won a size 12 k at champs. I go to pay and I noticed the girl was ringing me up for 2 pairs. I immediately noticed the size 12 in men’s and another size which I thought was the size 12k but I noticed the box on the right of her was a 12 k also. So I told her she’s making a mistake and that I don’t want to be deceitful and get her fired by having her sell me the wrong size. So she says I ain’t getting fired for that (with an attitude) and I said oh ok. So I let her mess up and sell me the size 12k and also the other shoe that didn’t belong to me which was a size 6 in men’s. She knew what she was doing since she said the paper they gave you says size 12 6 , I guess since she can’t read what the person doing check in wrote in cursive and her k looked like a 6. Welp took the 6 and as soon as I walked out a young hustler copped the from me.

I asked him being it was 3pm, How could they assume how many pairs were not being picked up?? To pass out raffle tickets and run out already?

Usually people line up outside the store till 6pm and and it's FCFS for whatever sizes are left?

That’s how they usually do it in most stores in nyc, give out guaranteed bands and give let’s say 100 bands and then go fcfs at deadline

Other than fighting traffic for a couple hours, easy pick ups for me at two different malls (hate when they do that). Second pair all ready on it’s way to SX. Not a reseller per say but I let stuff go sometimes and I only needed one pair. Slightly makes up for the massive L I took on pirate black V1s so I feel y’all’s pain. This was the first release in while where I seen lines of dudes waiting on un-claimed pairs right outside the store. Even got haggled for my pair by some random dude as I was walking out of champs lol.

People who hang outside of stores to buy pickups off people seem like the slum of the reselling community to me. Like, no effort or planning was put into this at all for them. It's their last desperate & pathetic move lol
