During the boom Yeezy times Ye could have gone to each of those higher ups houses and videotaped himself shooting their dogs, and they would have grinned and told him how funny he was, because the money was pouring in.
Adidas knows they was one Pirate Black 350 or a 750 release away from restoring the feeling. They saw how people was acting over TDs. They biting their pillows every night thinking about what could have been in 2023

I wonder who saw this coming. Adidas has no anchor that makes it stand out as a brand. It was the Yeezy line. Without that, all their talent has tanked. Cutting off the Yeezy line will cost Adidas close to $2B. The Beyonce line went from projected sales of $250M (2022) to $40M in actual sales. For 2023, Adidas projected $335M and now it's around $65M. They're paying Beyonce $20M annually. They are hemorrhaging money, stocks have dropped sharply after their announcements. With one deal, they can fix most of the issues they're suffering now even if it's temporary to sell off their leftover inventory. There are rumors that they already met, recordings of their meeting, and Ye has been in a better mood instead of going after the paparazzi, he went straight to the police station. As they say if it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense. I can see a deal coming out by March or by June at the latest; if it happens, so their stocks will get a huge boost. And I've only heard of one board member really objecting to Ye and the rest hasn't said anything.

If the news is true with ye, it definitely gets adidas out of the short term hole. What it doesn’t do is guarantee that the future of the line will maintain the same steam as it did a year ago. I’d say that the biggest success of Yeezys up to this point was going from a line that only a few people were even able to access to being shoes that people outside of sneaker enthusiasm were buying. That’s a lot of momentum to make up for assuming everything that’s happened and that “taste makers” and trendy fashion folk had moved on from Yeezys a year or so prior.

I get what you’re saying about the big picture/infrastructure.
Starting to set in for Adidas that if Kanye continues to just shut up and play the cut, everyday he does, he becomes more and more attractive to other business partners. He’s one loan, and one factory contract away from his own thing.

The Pirate Blacks is really the only thing thing are stuck with because the YZY on the side of the shoe whereas the others they just have to swap out the insoles.
I'm not putting any weight in this rumor since it's based of a tweet from a no name account. If anything they are probably looking at if they should give temporary royalties to Ye so they can release the Pirate Blacks

They've posted several other things using that source... It's most likely someone in the know behind that account. They posted the DMP news while everyone else was still talking Columbias/gammas. Time will tell.

Honestly I don’t believe these rumors at all. It feels like it would be 1 step forwards, 2 steps back after Ye’s comments, at least from a PR perspective.
Are you referring to Secret Sauce or House of Heat? I know HoH gets some of their Jordan info from ZsneakerheadZ and Sneakers Files.
