The mental gymnastics to make Kanye a victim is hilarious entertainment
I mean Adidas is straight up releasing products under his brand without approval nor paying him. Regardless about how you feel about Ye personally, you really don’t see an issue with the ethics behind that?

Adidas is also a big enough company they don’t even need to do this but they are still doing so for whatever reason.

As was stated before, if Adidas simply sold them as unbranded Yeezys, none of this would be an issue but they are still using Ye’s name and brand to move products which is really unethical.

They aren’t making new Yeezys. This is existing stock they haven’t sold. And contractually they own the name. There’s been nothing unethical here.
Adidas does not own the Yeezy name-that’s the issue here. They could have “un-branded” these shoes and sold them as they own the designs but they didn’t.

They don’t own “Yeezy” but they own the name of every model. What’s the difference brah? You couldn’t think through this logically enough to think a billionaire entertainer would have lawyers lined up down the block to sue adidas for “stealing” his name? And here we are over a year out and he’s making up lies people like you still believe that they’re suing HIM!

And like I said, they didn’t just come up with new cws last month 😂 this was everything planned while things were still good*

*kanye forcing Adidas employees to watch porn, calling them nazis, ridiculing them and going berserk.

How are they not paying him? He gets 15% of every pair sold. Adidas obviously know that they need the Yeezy branding to sell them. Remember Adidas got greedy and made millions of pairs behind Ye's back because they were making billions off his branding.

You're right. It's so much better than Nike executives and managers sexually harassing female employees, gender wage gap..... It was so rampant the class action lawsuit had to narrow down the thousands of female employees to 14. And then there's how the trainers/coaches treated high school female runners. Tom Sachs debacle, Ja Morant's stupidity, Travis Scott, where 10 people died and thousands were injured....... The list goes on.

Can you walk and chew gum at the same time? Kanye gets a pass cause other people and companies are bad? You want to call Germans nazis at work and you don’t belong anywhere near any business. Probably deserved to get stomped out by them.

Wait, did Ye get a pass? He was near bankruptcy due to his own actions. Brands are held accountable by their owns actions or lack there of, who they choose to partner with.... You want to slam Ye. But Nike and other brands are just as bad or worse just to put things in perspective.

thousands of people were not injured at that concert, and what does that have to do with Nike? Travis Scott didn’t hurt those people.

Because they are selling these unauthorized shoes under the "Yeezy" name. It's the exact same thing with the Adidas Kobes-they own the models but they don't own the name "Kobe" so they renamed them to the "Crazy" series. Similarily, Adidas does not own the name "Yeezy"

I believe the reason Adidas is not paying him is because they are claiming he owes them money in marketing costs for the same shoes.

I have no idea how that is legal but it's probably Adidas' current motivation in selling these unauthorized Yeezys.

Newsflash: they paid for the rights to “Adidas Yeezy ____”. You can’t sell unauthorized versions of a shoe you own the design and naming rights to. If the “yeezy” rights were so important he should have carved that out in contracts.

The idea anyone would have a moral objection on behalf of poor Yeezus himself and his “rights” is hilariously misguided ignorance. As the video above points out.

It’s funny people how people pick and choose what moral high ground they want to stand on.

Kids working endless hours in a sweatshop for next to nothing?… nah, selling Yeezys without Kanye’s approval?… that’s where they draw the line
