so ever since I could remember I've had an affinity for dark imagery, whether it is a movie, a book, a short video clip, music or any other form of media..nothing too gruesome or gory.... but this kind of imagery puts me in a weird mood. not sad but not happy...can't really describe but anyway is there dark imagery that you guys are attracted to that make you feel the same way...if so lets get the posts going...

here are some examples of dark imagery that i'm attracted to..

I'm the same way.

Puts me in a neutral place. Also basically a vampire.

I prefer happy, bright images but that is just me

Same here.

I'm also ******* ELATED when it rains. It could rain all day every day and I would have NO problems.
Same here ...I luv the rain/ cloudy weather...wish this wet weather this week would last all summer :lol :hat

warm, cloudy, and raining here right now. rain just started, immediately energized me.

Dystopian is one of my favorite genres of theater. I'm not sure why. That said, horror movies like saw are uninteresting to me. But movies like 28 days later and Terminator are fascinating to me.

I love the 15 minutes before a big rainstorm. That smell and the way the wind blows. The clanking of flag poles as drivers start turning their headlights on. The light drizzle you feel blocked as you walk down a tree lined street :hat

I don't even consider films like Saw Horror. **** like that and Hostel are Torture Porn.

Speaking of dystopian films...1984 is the GOAT.

I'll have to check 1984. Matter of fact I'll watch it tonight.

I agree with the Torture Porn phrase. Its demented to me.
