Don't really share the same sentiments you do but in the right context it definitely is appreciated. The movie The Ring is probably one of my favorite horro movies ever because of it.

I like eerie(did I spell that right?) feelings. I agree with the 15 min before it rains. I love the weeknd's darkness, horror movies are the best genre, I'm anti happy endings in just about all types of fiction. Death doesn't really phase me.
