The problem with saying the leather is better on the newest retro is that the bar is set incredibly low. The better leather is still trash, but Nike has conditioned us to think it’s “good”. Throw some fake tumble on there and we’re satisfied.

as far as wearability? the crosstrainer low ****s all over the sc. the upper is pretty soft on most parts HOWEVER the toe box feels like 3m material. feels cheap and stiff but not as bad as the sc. the low also has a very soft toe cap compared to the stiff plastic sc toe cap
that sc is stiff and plastic feel to the touch
out of the 3 pictured sc is way down the ladder.
nike putting 3m on the cross trainer low for no damn reason

got mine today and compaired them to my ds 2013 OG QS, and wow the 2013 **** all over these. big time IMO. ill post pics tomorrow. i like these and will wear them but wow, big diff!

Heel tab got so much 3M I thought the bottom panel was silver

Pair from Hibbetts. The 2022 joints are ok. They lack the padding around the tongue and ankles. Iirc from like the 2000 trainer sc retroes, the tongue had better flexibility, you could pull them out further, it had a softer pull. Padded too. 2022 Tongues are short. The leather on these are stiff. They don't easily bend or have that smooth crease effect the early retroes had. Just like the chlorophyll trainer 1s, these look good but materials are another thing. I think I might double up for some reason cause they probably won't come back for another 4, 5 years. Unless Nike wanna surprise us. If you can get them for retail, try for it.

Anybody seen the diamond turfs? Nike usually pairs these and the OG diamond turfs on releases.

Sz 11 came in and they fit just as well as the 10.5. Weird. I’ll keep them as my double in the future. Now I have 2 extra 10.5s. If anyone needs an oop let me know.

Bid got accepted on Goat for 181 ended up paying $195.50 shipped for my Sz 12.
