some people realized the quality was very good in comparison to usual jb retro quality.
and others just got super excited that they are really limited and they could sell them for $295 a pair.

I talked to a lady at the prime location.  She said they were supposed to get them but did not.  None of the Orlando stores recieved any.  The Florida City store did get them but they are not taking phone orders.

Had a meeting with some clients near my outlet so I went by to check on these after and the manager said people have been calling all day asking for these. I think other NTers or fellow sneakerheads showed up looking for the same thing, but easily left within a few minutes just like me...

I just came from there! No love for Orlando and not too many employees know enough about them. I talked to my bud who works at the warehouse and he said Sawgrass was the main place so far. Hopefully stock shows up around here though...

Everyone in the bay knows Shoe Palace is the worst place to buy shoes from yet people still support them. I refuse to buy anything from that company. Walk in any store and you will be greeted by the following:
- "What size boss?"
- poor customer service
- club music playing so loud that you can't even hear your own voice
- employees offering to buy the shoes off your feet if its "heat"

For the people that was at Vacaville this morning, can someone ID the SP dude? Was he a big black dude and was his nephew tatted up because if so, I know exactly who y'all talking about.

Yea and if you call them and ask for a price, "company policy we dont give prices over the phone" because they think their prices are so low they cant say it.

I did notice how much everyone in line kept talking about how much these would be worth for reselling, I think I was the only person that pointed out that if everyone in line at every outlet is standing around with dollar bill signs over their eyes, how could these possibly be worth the amount being asked. To which I got crickets and NAH BRA THERE AINT THAT MANY SHOES OUT THERE in response. I posted about picking up 2 pair and had a PM asking if I was willing to sell a pair. Like I've said in other threads, if I pick something up consider it out of circulation, it won't be used for trade/sold/given away.

Same here, I think most of the NT crowd is just looking to rock a pair. I dunno, there's something about letting your AJI's sit deadstock that doesn't jive with me. I was about 11 years old when the White/Black-Red retros dropped, and I pounded those on the court and wore them to school so hard until I just couldn't fit my feet into them anymore. I've got a soft spot for the 1's, especially in the OG colorways. When I was that young, the concept of a retro didn't exist - at least not to me. Being able to put on a pair of the sneakers that changed the sport and culture so much was such a special feeling. Now I just have nostalgia, especially seeing that these may be the best quality since those first retros.

I paid $275 shipped for a pair and although some of you might think Im crazy, Im really happy with the purchase since I was not able to get here in Canada and I dont live close enough to the border to head south and cop. Im happy I got em and as I posted before, one way or another I was gonna get a pair regardless of price. These kicks tell the story of how this crazy jordan sneaker culture started. To me, thats a must have for anyone collecting......jus my opinion
