Is it me or does Zach look soft as hell finishing? Dude is missing so many contested finishes taking that extra step. Just jump and finish strong or get fouled. He’s to much of a finesse player at the rim.

I don’t think the kicks have anything to do with it. I don’t think he trusts that Acl fully and he really likes to take an extra step to finish with a layup from an angle with no contact rather than go off his first step and into the body of the help defender. Drives me crazy.
I just rewatched Zachs Acl tear, and I swear to god it looks like it was contact to his knee in mid air that tore his Acl! That’s prob why he takes that extra step at the rim so often to jump away from contact. Feel like I found the Zapruder footage lol.
