Just came back to this thread and saw pseudo philosophical talks about being materialistic and relying on temporary hits of dopamine and the items themselves to fill a so called void? There's a fine line between being a sneaker enthusiast and being in love with the history, design, and culture behind sneakers (**** price gouging resellers though), buying pairs you like simply because you like/love them, OR buying sneakers to fill an emotional or psychological void and even after achieving the pairs you desire, you still feel empty. If your issue is the latter, what you need isn't a pair of Jordan's, you need therapy.
