Because nobody was buying GR 2s at $190 retail. They’re trying to drum up excitement for the model. At least they didn’t try and drop Travis 2s, given how the dude might be cancelled for the near future lol

Im not against new colors or collabs on any shoe. But the shoe above does not represent the 2 at all. At least give the younger consumer a close and accurate representation of its inspiration first. The shoe above will do no favor to the 2 and its appeal imo.

I don’t think people would care if they just released the OG Chi AJ2 highs. It’s been over 17 years since they retroed them and they are arguably the most iconic cw of AJ2s…
