AIR JORDAN 3 BLACK CEMENT - NOVEMBER 23, 2024

No as a grown man you should know what size you wear.

you do know that these shoes vary from release to release? sometimes heavily. just look at the conversation above my post here. happens to me sometimes with Nike, and constantly with adidas. yeezy's especially would change sizing drastically from colorway to colorway of the same model. It's fair to ask about sizing of specific models on an enthusiast forum.

I’ve measured my foot using the Brannock device and I’m pretty much a size 9.25. lol

I can do a size 9 or 9.5 depending on the width of the shoe. For the 3s, I’ve always been able to do a size 9 comfortably. Same thing with the 6s and 7s. But for the remaining 90-95% of my shoes, I do a size 9.5

the only pair of shoes I’ve ever had to size up or whatever on were the Lebron 8. Not one single pair of Jordan’s. The reimagined 3s sizing was no different on my other pair of 3s 🤷‍♂️

I wear a 12 in all J's except for 11s. Gotta go up to a 13 in those. 12.5s would be perfect. Only other Jordan I ever had to go up in were the last release of the Black/red 13s. Those ran super tight for some reason.

My shoe room ranges from a size 11.5 - 13 depending on the model and other variables. Most are a size 12.5. Every single shoe is the exact size needed for the perfect fit for me. Yes for certain shoes I’ve bought 2 sizes to see which fits better. I really wish some of you could understand this 1 size fits across all models idea doesn’t apply to everyone. With that said, I’m sure someone here will still tell me I don’t know my size lol

Saw this play out with the BC4 reimagined.
They definitely had extra volume compared to the military blue 4s and white thunder 4s.
I saw several posts on reddit that the BC4 was too big lmao. It's a perfect fit for me at my true size

Some will really gonna get lucky to get a decent looking pair like these greens.

I’m genuinely curious for the ones who think it’s “crazy” or “nuts” to need different sizes in different shoes, do you actually wear a wide variety/decent amount of sneakers?

AF1
Recent Kobe 4 protro
Last run of huarache retros
*As an example, there’s no way you’re wearing all of these in the same size and it properly fits.

For comparison, these are the different lasts for the brand Alden. If he goes by the same logic, he would wear the same size in both the narrowest and the widest fitting shoes/boots.

I currently wear/worn over the past couple/few months Kobe’s 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 protros, Ja 1s and 2s, KD 4 retro, 16 and 17, Lebron 20, 21, 22 (soon) 2 and 4, Foamposite 1, Penny 1 and 2, Book 1s, Jordan 3, 4, 6, 11, 12, 13, 14 (soon), 36,38, 39, Anta Kyrie 1, Way of Wade 10, Adidas AE 1 mid and lows, and a couple pairs of low dunks.

I’m a 9.5 in everything for the most part

But Half size down in af1’s

And sometimes go up a half size with anything that has a shroud or strap

I've never had to size up or down in any brand ever and I've always thought you NTers that wore a 10.5 - 12 were nuts and I still think that.
10.5 -12 is wild...

I wear a 10.5 in most shoes, but foams I like to go up a half size if it's available.

10.5 - 11 is my size range...

My 2016 true blue size 11 fits like a 10.5.. 😅

I'm a 12 across the board except for Chucks, Vans, and Huarache Runs. I'm with g-time g-time . I've never understood the people that claim they fit across 3 size runs.
We’re virtually saying the same thing  . You’re the same size in almost everything EXCEPT whatever other shoes. That’s kind of the point. Your closet is not ALL 1 size. There’s other shoes outside of the ones you named too where I’d feel pretty confident in saying a 12 probably wouldn’t fit you best.

I think the difference was his was across different brands for the most part. Yours, from your explanation is across predominantly one brand.

I'm in the camp where I need different sizes for different models. It's more of a width/volume issue rather than length. Those with narrow/medium feet probably can stay the same in most shoes.

I think some people like more room in the toe and will notice less when a shoe fits differently. Those who like a snug fit will notice more. There’s an average of only 0.4 cm in length between sizes. It’s preposterous to think every shoe ever made will fit the same +/- 0.4 cm. My dad’s foot is smaller than mine but he likes a 12 and I generally like a 10.5. I’d assume if he went sz 12 in AF1s and LeBron 8s he’d be fine in both. I would not. I like a shoe to be as snug as possible without giving me discomfort. Different models cause discomfort at different spots, so I will size accordingly in each model. It also doesn’t help that Nike can’t even be consistent across releases of the same model. 2018 BC3 were painfully uncomfortable, UNCs fit just right, and YCs were floppy in the same size. 3s also have horrible lockdown and I don’t like them laced tight, so a snug but comfortable fit is especially necessary.

Maybe one day I solve all this by just being a grown man.
