How can you tell the difference between a fake pair and a real pair?

I had no idea that the metallic 3Lab5 were missing some of the features of the first two 3Lab5.

I passed on the Metallics because I have the infrareds, but I'd be a little tight if I was going to pay 225 for the metallics and not get all the features as what's on the infrareds or gammas...

don't know about a site but from what ive seen the fakes are usually wider and bulkier and the laces are a diff material.  they usually look off around the tongue/liner area

Curious on the sizing of these...do you guy half size down from your normal size in 5's?

I only ask because i got the 11lab4's and they fit a little bigger than my normal 4's since the leather lining on the inside is not as thick as the normal padding. Wondering if the 5s are the same.

Just got my pair. Impressed overall with quality. Didn't find any defects with my pair.

Finally received me restock pair after some UPS shenanigans. Tracking showed the package was lost and UPS told me only the sender could file a lost package claim. After Nike filed the claim, UPS found it and returned to sender. But shout out NDC CS for making sure the warehouse sent it back out!

I had to return my pair. One shoe on the medial side had the outsole peeling a little bit. The other shoe had scuff marks on the silver paint on the heel side.
