IMO the guavas with the tongue stitched looks nice because the reversed tongue is still the same color. But for the off-noirs, having a black tongue looked better

The color on the stitched tongue matches the midsole, so it works well even on off-noirs. It gives the shoe some balance. Unstitched looks great too, but I appreciate Chris’s vision so I’ll probably never unstitch mine.

Unstitched tongues with yellow laces on the noirs > guavas IMHO.
Wish they would have used yellow or orange foam on the tongues instead of black foam though. Would have popped a little.
