I think retro 5s are currently just not for me. No hate, but I can’t unsee how bulky these look compared to the OGs.

Hoping official pics can change my mind bc this is a shoe, along with Aqua 8s, that I’ve always loved.

Basically where im at with it. I think I’ve outgrown 5’s. Especially ones shaped like this. Will make exceptions for black metallics and variants (off whites, AMM) but I can’t get over the steel toe and the pleather. These remind me of my fire reds from 2013. That got no wear

That’s kind of a blanket statement that falls way short of reality. Comparisons to past 5’s show the metallics looking noticeably slimmer than any V in the past twenty years. Trusting pics of fakes is never useful for making generalizations.
